AIIMS Jammu Recruitment: Apply for Senior Resident/Senior Demonstrator posts by Dec 20

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jammu, has announced openings for the Senior Resident/Senior Demonstrator posts. 

Eligible candidates are invited to submit their applications online through the official AIIMS Jammu website at aiimsjammu.edu.in. 

The deadline for application submission is December 20, 2023.

AIIMS Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 129 posts

• EWS Candidates: 12 posts

• UR Candidates: 50 posts

• OBC Candidates: 38 posts   

• SC Candidates: 18 posts

• ST Candidates: 11 posts

Educational Qualification

Eligibility for consideration in these posts is limited to candidates who have been or are declared successful in their qualifying degree examination/viva, such as DNB/MD/MS/Ph.D., and will complete their tenure for the same on or before December 31, 2023.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applying to these posts is 45 years as of December 20, 2023. Age relaxation will not be granted to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for UR vacancies.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 1000 for candidates in the General/OBC/EWS category, while there is no fee for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates. 

Pay Scale

For medical candidates, the remuneration is set at Rs 18,750 along with a Grade Pay of 6600 and NPA, in addition to other standard allowances or the revised pay scale applicable under the 7th CPC. This places them in the

Pay Level 11 of the Pay Matrix, with a pre-revised pay Band-3 and an entry pay of Rs 67,700. On the other hand, non-medical candidates holding M.Sc. and Ph.D. qualifications will receive Rs 56,100 in Level 10 under the 7th CPC, accompanied by various customary allowances.

Selection Process

The selection process will involve a single interview round. Candidates are instructed to appear for the interview promptly at 9:00 AM. The interview venue is the Conference Room at AIIMS Jammu, located at the Camp Office, GMC Doctor’s Guest House, Maheshpura Chowk, AIIMS, Jammu, 180001.
