AIIMS Bhubaneswar to engage senior research officer, monthly salary Rs 1 lakh

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhubaneswar has invited applications from candidates for an extramural funded research project.

As per the official AIIMS Bhubaneswar advertisement, one post of senior research officer and 3 research fellow posts will be filled up.

The engagements will be for the project titled “India Primary Health Care Support Initiative (IPSI)” for the Implementation of Comprehensive Primary Health Care. The walk-in-interview for both the posts will be held on August 19, 2023.

Vacancy Details

Senior Research Officer: 1 post

Essential Qualification: MD in Community Medicine, MBBS with Master’s degree in Public Health/ Epidemiology/Health Care Management/Health Administrative with one-year experience, and Master’s in Public Health with five Years’ experience.

Monthly Consolidated Emoluments: Rs 1 lakh

Upper Age Limit: 50 years

Research Fellow: 3 posts

Essential Qualification: MBBS, Master’s degree in Public Health/Epidemiology/ Health Management/Social Work with one year’s work experience from a recognized institution.

Monthly Consolidated Emoluments: Rs 60,000

Upper Age Limit: 40 years

As per the AIIMS Bhubaneswar advertisement, these are tenure vacancies under the funded project and are not employment from AIIMS Bhubaneswar payroll. No Benefit of Provident fund, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim, etc. will be considered since the post is purely on a contract basis

The appointment will be for one year and subject to extension depending on the performance of the candidate and funding of the project, the advertisement read.
