The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar has invited applications from eligible candidates for an extramural funded research project on a tenure basis.

As per the advertisement, the project coordinator post is meant for Regional Institute for HIV surveillance & Epidemiology. The funding agency for the project is NACO, MOHFW.

Under this project, Regional Institute at AIIMS Bhubaneswar will provide coordination, technical & implementation support, and monitoring of the HIV Surveillance and epidemiology in the states of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.

Essential Qualification

1. MD in Community Medicine

2. MBBS

3. Master’s degree in Public Health/Epidemiology/Health Care Management/Health Administrative with the following essential experience (for SL no 2 & 3) Minimum 5 years of experience in disease surveillance/public health management/public health epidemiology/public health research experience in NACP at National/State level preferred

The date of the interview is September 14, 2022 and it will be conducted through online and offline mode, the advertisement said.

“These are tenure vacancies under the funded project and are not employment from AIIMS Bhubaneswar payroll. No Benefit of provident fund, leave travel concession, medical claim, etc. will be considered, since the post is purely on contract basis,” the advertisement added.
