Online applications have been invited to fill up the vacant faculty posts in various departments of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar. A total of 36 Professor, three Additional Professor, eight Associate Professor and 65 Assistant Professor posts will be filled up through the direct recruitment drive.
As per the official notification, the posts of Professor will be filled up through either direct recruitment or deputation basis. However, application on deputation for the post of Professor will be considered in respect of those candidates who are holding analogous posts in any of the Institute of National Importance under Govt. of India.

The application for deputation only should be routed through their employer and the same be sent along with attested copies of ACRs for last five years and Vigilance Clearance Certificate through Speed Post, it read.
Qualifications and Experiences:
Professor:
(1) A medical Qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical
Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in section 13(3) of the Act.)
(2) A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
And/Or, M.Ch. for surgical Superspecialities and D.M. for Medical Superspecialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognised course) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Experience:
Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in recognised Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or, twelve years teaching and/or research experience in recognised Institute in the subject of speciality after obtaining the Degree of M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognised equivalent thereto.
Or eleven years teaching and/or research experience in recognised Institution in the subject of speciality for the candidates possessing 3 years recognised Degree of D.M/M. Ch in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognised equivalent thereto.
Additional Professor:
1 to 2 same as for Professor (Medical)
Experience:
Ten years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognised equivalent thereto.
Associate Professor:
1 to 2 same as for Professor (Medical).
Experience:
Six years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./ M.S. or a qualification recognised equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor:
1 to 2 same as for Professor (Medical).
Experience:
Three years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognised equivalent thereto.
Educational Qualifications for non-medical candidates:
1. Master’s degree in concerned speciality as under:
i. Anatomy:-M.Sc. (Human Anatomy),
ii. Physiology:-M.Sc. (Medical Physiology / Physiology),
iii. Biochemistry:-M.Sc. (Medical Biochemistry / Biochemistry),
iv. Pharmacology:-M.Sc. (Medical Pharmacology / Pharmacology)
2. A doctorate degree of recognised university.
Application Process:
The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their application through Online mode followed by Offline application in prescribed application format. The Online registration of application will be made available on AIIMS, Bhubaneswar official website i.e. http://aiimsbhubaneswar.nic.in.
The last date of online submission of applications will be 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.

Pay Scale: Professor-Level 14-A Minimum Pay of Rs.1,68,900. (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only)
Additional Professor- Level 13-A2 Minimum Pay of Rs.1,48,200 (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only)
Associate Professor: Level 13-A1 Minimum Pay of Rs.1,38,300 (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only)
Assistant Professor: Level 12 Minimum Pay of Rs.1,01,500 (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only) with provision to move to Level 13 of the Pay Matrix after three years.
Maximum Age Limit:
Professor/Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 (Fifty-Eight) years as on the last date of the receipt of the online application i.e. 30 days from the date of the publication of this advertisement in Employment News/Rojgar Samachar.
Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 (Fifty) years as on the last date of the receipt of the online application i.e. 30 days from the date of the publication of this advertisement in Employment News/Rojgar Samachar
Application Fees: Applicants will have to pay application fee of Rs 1,000 whereas there is no application fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates.
