The All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) has issued a circular warning all stakeholders to remain cautious against fake job scams.

“It has come to the notice of the AICTE that people claiming to be AICTE officials (imposters) are approaching people that AICTE is recruiting officers for all vacancies including Taluk / District Coordinators, Head Zonal Officers, Zonal Officers,” the AICTE circular read.

The AICTE has clarified that no such recruitments are being made by the Council. “Any such incident be reported to AICTE in the official communication email IDs which are available on AICTE website www.aicte-india.org,” the circular added.

The AICTE has also stated that it will not be responsible for any such fake recruitments made by the imposters. “Criminal proceedings shall be initiated against such people as per law,” warned AICTE.

In September, the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) had warned the public and other stakeholders about several fake websites which were in circulation.

The AICTE had clarified the URL of its official website is https://aicte-india.org. The public should always use the official website to check all the latest updates and for any financial transactions.

“It has been observed that some websites with similar-looking URLs like- www.aictsd.com, www.aictetindia.org, etc do not belong to AICTE,” the previous circular read.
