Educational Qualification
Applicants aspiring to join the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) of the Indian Air Force are required to possess a three-year Bachelor's degree. Alternatively, candidates holding a BE/BTech degree from a recognised university are also eligible for these branches.
For those interested in the Ground Duty (Technical - Aeronautical Engineering Electronics) branch, a Graduate or Postgraduate Degree in Engineering and Technology from a recognised University is necessary.
Age Limit
For the Flying Branch, candidates should be between 20 to 24 years old as of January 1, 2025, meaning they must have been born between January 2, 2001, and January 1, 2005 (inclusive of both dates).
For the Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches, the age requirement is 20 to 26 years as of January 1, 2025. Therefore, candidates for these branches must have been born between January 2, 1999, and January 1, 2005 (inclusive of both dates).
Application Fee
The examination fee for candidates is ₹550, which serves as the registration fee. It's important to note that individuals registering for the NCC Special Entry are exempt from this fee.
