The Airports Authority of India has released an official notification inviting applications Junior Executive (Air Traffic Control) position from eligible candidates. The candidate must hold a full-time, regular Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc) with Physics and Mathematics, or a full-time, regular Bachelor's degree in Engineering in any discipline. Physics and Mathematics should be included as subjects in at least one semester of the curriculum.
Additionally, the candidate must possess a minimum proficiency in both spoken and written English at the 10+2 level, having passed English as one of the subjects in either the 10th or 12th standard.
The maximum age limit is 27 years as of 24th May 2025. Age relaxation is provided as follows:
For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years.
For OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years. Vacancies reserved for the OBC category are specifically for candidates belonging to the ‘Non-Creamy Layer,’ as per Government of India guidelines.
For PwBD candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years, provided the post is suitable for the relevant category of disability. A Certificate of Disability, issued by the Competent Authority on or before 24th May 2025, is required.
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only), inclusive of GST, through online mode only. Fees paid via any other mode will not be accepted. However, SC/ST/PWD candidates, apprentices who have successfully completed one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI, and female candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.
Selection Procedure
A Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted for the post of Junior Executive (Air Traffic Control). Based on the information provided in their application forms, provisionally eligible candidates will be called to appear for the CBT, and admit cards will be issued accordingly. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the AAI website and check their registered e-mail IDs, including the spam folder, for updates and to download their admit cards. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers attempted in the Computer-Based Test.
