AAI announces recruitment for 64 junior and senior assistant positions, check details

The Airports Authority of India has announced 64 vacancies for Junior Assistant and Senior Assistant positions. 

Starting from January 10, 2024, interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official website www.aai.aero. 

The application deadline is February 10, 2024. The date for the online examination will be communicated later. 

The computer-based test will take place at various centers in the North Eastern Region, with potential cities including Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Naharlagun, Kohima, Agartala, Imphal, Aizwal, and Shillong.

Total Vacancy: 64 posts

• Senior Assistant (Electronics): 14 posts

• Senior Assistant (Operations): 2 posts

• Senior Assistant (Accounts): 5 posts

• Junior Assistant (Fire Services): 43 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidate must have passed Class 10th/Class 12th/Diploma from recognized University/Institute.

Age Limit

The age of candidates shall be between the age of 18 years and 30 years as on December 30, 2023.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1000. However, women, SC/ST candidates, ex-servicemen, persons with disabilities, and apprentices who have completed one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI under the

Apprentices Act 1961 are exempted from paying the application fee.

Pay Scale

• Senior Assistant (Electronics): Rs 36,000 – Rs 1,10,000

• Senior Assistant (Operations): Rs 36,000 – Rs 1,10,000

• Senior Assistant (Accounts): Rs 36,000 – Rs 1,10,000

• Junior Assistant (Fire Service): Rs 31,000 – Rs 92,000

In addition to the basic pay, eligible candidates will receive Dearness Allowance, Perks, House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other benefits, including CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Scheme, Medical Benefits, etc., in accordance with the Airports Authority of India Rules & Regulations.
