The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online recruitment applications in 7th Pay Commission scale (ORA) to fill up various vacancies.

The closing date for submission of online recruitment application is July 29. The last date for printing of completely submitted online application is upto 23:59 hours on July 30, as per the official UPSC notification.

In event of the number of application being large for the 7th Pay Commission scale UPSC jobs, the Commission will adopt shortlisting criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview to a reasonable number.

Here’s details of vacancies:

(A) Three vacancies for the post of Assistant Director (Chemistry) in the Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage, Faridabad, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (SC- 01, UR-02).

The post is Permanent.

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC, General Central Service, Goup ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Age: 35 years.

Essential Qualification For UPSC Recruitment 2021:

M.Sc in Agricultural Chemistry or M.Sc in Chemistry with specialization either in Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry from a recognized University or Institution.

Experience: Three years practical experience of work relating to analysis of Pesticides using modern sophisticated analytical instruments such as Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, High performance liquid chromatography, Gas Liquid Chromatography, etc. in a Central Government or State Government Department or Public Sector undertaking or Agricultural University or in an Autonomous or Statutory or Semi-Government Organization or in any recognized Research Institute or Councils.

(B)  Three vacancies for the post of Nautical Surveyor cum-Deputy Director General (Technical) in the Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai, Ministry of Shipping (SC- 01, EWS-01, UR-01).

The post is Permanent.

Pay Scale: Level-12 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC, General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

 Age: 50 years.

Educational Qualification: Certificate of Competency as Master of a Foreign Going Ship as recognized by the Government of India.

Experience: Five years service as Deck Officer, after obtaining the certificate of competency of second mate (Foreign Going), of which one year must have been in capacity of a Master on a Foreign going ship.
