Top 10 cities with most billionaires in the world: Only this Indian city has made it to the list

The United States is undoubtedly one of the wealthiest countries in the world. And this was once again confirmed when recently the list of the top 10 cities with the most billionaires was released. As expected most of the cities that are included in this list belong to the US and only one city from India has been able to gain a spot in the top 10.

The database looked at 11 million individuals who hold influential positions in the world of business and economics so that it can come up with the top 10 global cities with the most billionaires.

Incidentally, these highly-ranked cities together account for 29% of the world’s billionaires last year. Importantly, almost all the cities that are a part of this list are big global cities having a strong presence in high-end businesses and are known for top-class cultural and social lifestyles.

Top 10 cities with the most billionaires

New York tops the list while the economic capital of India, Mumbai is last in the top 10.

What’s surprising is that big, international cities like Tokyo, and Dubai are nowhere on this list. The census also released the list of the top 10 countries with the most billionaires and the first 3 positions belong to USA, China, and Germany followed by the UK and then India.

It is heartening to see that India has a good position when it comes to the highest number of billionaires in the country but there is a big margin between the USA, China, Germany, and India.
