Passenger plane crashes in Afghanistan; not an Indian plane, says DGCA

A passenger plane has crashed in Afghanistan's Badakhshan province, local media reported.

The information was provided by Zabihullah Amiri, an official of provincial department of information and culture, Xinhua news agency reported quoting Tolo news.

A team has been rushed to the accident site near Topkhana area of Kuran-wa-Munjan district, Amiri said.

The unfortunate plane crash that has just occurred in Afghanistan is neither an Indian Scheduled Aircraft nor a Non-Scheduled (NSOP)/Charter aircraft. It is a Moroccan-registered small aircraft. More details are awaited: Ministry of Civil Aviation pic.twitter.com/tjY3GA8NEW
