On May 21, Naveen Patnaik led Biju Janta Dal (BJD) government completed third year in its fourth test and it has presented a list of achievements to flaunt and celebrate.

However, the road ahead for BJD doesn’t present a rosy picture in the backdrop of simmering fault lines erupting with several senior leaders questioning the intent and policy of the leadership.

Besides, the surge of its former alliance partner, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) could emerge a possible challenge and dash hopes of Naveen Patnaik that's nurturing a wish to play the fifth test in 2019.
