It's raining cash for the staff of a mining company. Amidst the job cut by tech behemoths, the woman boss of the company named Roy Hill has done something unexpected by rewarding her employees with hefty bonus. 

The woman billionaire, Gina Rinehart, announced a Christmas bonus of Rs 82 lakh each to her 10 employees. She is the richest person of Australia with a net worth of USD 34 billion. 

As per reports, Gina Rinehart randomly picked 10 staff members of her company Roy Hill and rewarded them with $100,000 (about Rs 82 lakh) each as Christmas bonus. 

Gina, who is the chairperson of Hancock Prospecting, a mining and agricultural company and parent company of Roy Hill, has garnered huge appreciation from all quarters for her generosity.

As per reports, Gina asked her staff to stay back for an important announcement and offered the surprising festive gift. One of the staff who received the hefty bonus had joined the company just three months back.

The Roy Hill mine in Western Australia's remote Pilbara region is the largest asset owned by Hancock Prospecting Group. The iron ore mine announced a massive $3.2 billion profit in the 2021-22 financial year, the Daily Mail reported.
