President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and other leaders on Friday extended greetings to people on the auspicious occasion of Holi. 

In a tweet, President Kovind said, "Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Holi. Holi, the festival of colours, is a living example of community harmony and reconciliation. It brings good news of the arrival of spring. I wish that this festival infuses joy, enthusiasm and new energy in the lives of all the countrymen." 

 

 

Wishing the citizens on the occasion, Prime Minister Modi tweeted, "Happy Holi to all of you. A symbol of mutual love, affection and brotherhood, may this festival bring every color of happiness in the life of all of you."

 

 

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also took to Twitter to extend greeting to people on the occasion Dola Purnima. He wrote, "My greetings and best wishes to the people of the State on the occasion of Dola Purnima. May blessings of Lord Dolagobinda fill the lives of all with happiness and prosperity."

 

 

BJP National vice-president Baijayant Panda in his tweet said, "Heartiest greetings and best wishes to all on the auspicious occasion of Dola Purnima. May the abundant grace and blessings of Lord Sri Radha Krishna be upon all. I pray to God for the happiness, peace, progress and good health of all."

 

 

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also greeted people on the occasion.
