Happy 2025! President Murmu, PM Modi and others extend New Year greetings

On the first day of New Year 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished everyone a year filled with new opportunities, success and endless joy. In his wish to the nation, PM Modi kept his wishes short and sweet as he extended New Year wishes for 2025. 

Taking to his X (Twitter) handle, the PM shared, “May this year bring everyone new opportunities, success and endless joy. May everybody be blessed with wonderful health and prosperity.”

Likewise, President Droupadi Murmu also extended New Year wishes and wrote, “Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! May the year 2025 bring joy, harmony and prosperity to all! On this occasion, let us renew our commitment to work together for creating a brighter, more inclusive and sustainable future for India and the world.”

BJP National Vice-President and Kendrapara MP, Baijayant Jay Panda also wished everyone a joyful and prosperous New Year 2025! 

“As we embrace this New Year, let’s build on the remarkable milestones of 2024 and work together for a vibrant, stronger, and prosperous #NewIndia. May this year bring health, happiness, and success to all,” tweeted Panda.

Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi also took to social media and wrote, “Happy New Year to all of you. I hope this year brings new enthusiasm, new joy and happiness in your life.”
