Durga Puja 2022: Idols in Cuttack to get GPS connectivity during immersion

In a first, Goddess Durga idols in the Millennium City of Cuttack will get Global Positioning System (GPS) connectivity during Dussehra immersion, informed Twin City Police Commissioner Saumendra Priyadarshi on Tuesday.

Speaking to media after a meeting with all puja committees and Shanti Committee in Cuttack, the top cop said, “The GPS installation will be done to find out the location of the idols during the immersion ceremony.”

“Besides, Commissionerate Police will also felicitate the most disciplined puja committee in the city,” Priyadarshi informed.
