Cuttack Bali Yatra: Kailash Kher weaves magic through his soulful performance

The entire Bali Yatra ground in Cuttack reverberated with soul-stirring renditions by popular Bollywood singer Kailash Kher. Known for folk and Sufi songs, Kailash Kher weaved magic and immediately connected with the audience present during the historic fair on Saturday.

A large number of visitors had thronged Cuttack to see Kailash Kher perform live at Bali Yatra yesterday. Be it ‘Allah Ke Bande, Tere Naam Se Jilu or the Jay Jaya Kara from the blockbuster movie Baahubali’, the visitors were mesmerized by the performance of Kailash Kher.

“It was a great moment for the audience who got an opportunity to see Kailash Kher perform live before a huge crowd at Bali Yatra,” said a visitor.

Kailash Kher said, “People of Odisha have tremendous faith in God and are very cordial and loving. I am grateful to have performed at the historic Bali Yatra.”

Kailash Kher performs live at Bali Yatra

According to the singer, India is the only country that is providing solutions on all fronts. “Bali Yatra is a festival observed to commemorate the maritime history of Odisha. I extend my wishes to the administration and others who have preserved the tradition along the banks of the Mahanadi river,” the singer added.

It is pertinent to mention here that the district administration has made elaborate arrangements to woo visitors during Bali Yatra which is being organised in a grand manner this year. Apart from Kailash Kher, a number of other singers are scheduled to perform during the weeklong festival in Cuttack.
