A massive footfall of visitors is expected throng Cuttack to witness the historic Bali Yatra which is being organised following a gap of two years after withdrawal of Covid-19 restrictions this year. In view of the anticipated rush, the Commissionerate Police has drawn special strategy for crowd management and ensuring smooth flow of vehicular traffic.

The Commissionerate Police has also come up with traffic advisory and clamped restrictions on the movement of vehicles on specific routes leading to the Bali Yatra ground.

Vehicles coming from Bhubaneswar via Gopalpur, Nandankan, Baranga, Trisulia will reach at Netaji Seta and by taking left turn they will reach at Biju Pattanaik Park (Parking Place) and further proceed up to Maa Bhusuni (Parking Ground). They may park their vehicles on either of the two parking grounds and avail shuttle bus service up to Cantonment PS to visit Baliyatra.

Vehicles coming from Madhupatna Traffic Chhak will come to Khannagar Chhak via Badambadi and other route will reach judicial academy Chhak and by taking left turn they will reach at Bijupattanaik Park (Parking Place) and further proceed up to Maa Bhusuni (Parking Ground). They may park their vehicles on either of the two parking grounds and avail shuttle bus service up to Cantonment PS to visit Baliyatra.

Vehicles coming from Athagarh, Banki, on Naraj Bridge and Madhusudan bridge will will reach at Bijupattanaik Park (Parking Place) and further proceed up to Maa Bhusuni (Parking Ground). They may park their vehicles on either of the two parking grounds and avail shuttle bus service up to Cantonment PS to visit Baliyatra.

Vehicles coming from Chandikhol, Jajpur side via Jagatpur golei chhak, Sikharpur will reach at OMP may take turn to Sikharpur or take the road for Rly over bridge and by the side of Taladanda canal may proceed to Jobra Chaka and then taking straight route they will reach at Mata Matha Chhak and proceed to Chief Justice House Back side diversion and proceed up to Lower Baliyatra Parking Ground (A,B,C,D).

Vehicles coming from Jagasinghpur, Chauliaganj side will reach at OMP may take turn to Sikharpur or take the road for Rly over bridge, College Chhak and by the side of Taladanda canal may proceed to Jobra. Chaka and then taking straight route and they will reach at Mata Matha-Chhak and proceed to Chief Justice House Back side diversion and proceed up to Lower Baliyatra Parking Ground (A,B,C,D).

Light vehicle coming from Kendrapada, Chowdwar side will reach Jagatpur Golei Chhak via cricket field will reach Jobra and then taking straight route and they will reach at Mata Matha Chhak and proceed to Chief Justice House Back side diversion and proceed up to Lower Baliyatra Parking Ground (A,B,C,D).

Vehicles coming from Bhubaneswar directly on the NH-5 may proceed up to OMP square may take turn at Sikharpur or take the road for Rly over bridge, College Chhak and by the side of Taladanda canal may proceed to Jobra Chaka and then taking straight route and they will reach at Mata Matha Chhak and proceed to Chief Justice House Back side diversion and proceed up to Lower Baliyatra Parking Ground (A,B,C,D)

Any vehicles are coming from town will make their to and fro movement through Deer park, Biju pattnaik Chhak, Kanika Chhak, Chandi Chhak, Mission road, Buxi Bazar, Mani Sahu Chhak, Howrah motor, then Mata math Chhak and approach ring road and vice versa.

Town vehicles are coming from left side of the Baliyatra ground may reach at Bijupattanaik Chhack and proceed to park their vehicles at Chirstian Sahi Parking ground and Daya Ashram Parking Ground or Gorakabar parking ground.

Town vehicles are coming from right side of the Baliyatra ground will reach at Mata Matha Chhak and proceed to Chief Justice House Back side diversion and proceed up to Lower Baliyatra Parking Ground (A,B,C,D) .

A mobile application " AMA BALIYATRA" has been created for providing the traffic position of different parking stands and a route map has also been presented graphically to aware the general public about traffic situation for their convenience.

In view of immersion festival of Lord Shree Kartikeswar, no vehicles are allowed to ply on Trishulia and Nandankanan road. They shall avail the National Highway - 16.
