Fake note racket busted in Sundergarh
Sundergarh: Hemagiri police today busted a fake currency note racket in Kendudihi village of the district today.
According to sources, police have arrested three persons and seized a fake note, computer, printer and a scanner.
Police had reportedly received information about the racket from sources and conducted a raid on the shop of one Sadananda Khamaria.
Speaking to media, Sradhanjali Subudhi, IIC of Hemagiri Police Station said, “We conducted a raid on the mobile repairing shop of Sadananda after a tip-off. A fake note was seized along with other equipment used for fake note printing. A detailed investigation to find the masterminds behind the racket is underway.”
