While in the box office, when John Abraham starred Satyamev Jayate 2 raked in around Rs 3.6 crore on its day 1 (Nov 25) and around Rs 2cr on Nov 26.
The Akki starred Sooryavanshi collections on Nov 25 was Rs 1.18 cr (the 21st-day post-release on Nov 5). The collections stood at Rs 0.71 cr on Nov 26 and on the first day of the weekend it grossed Rs 1.43 cr.
Between Nov 26 and 27, Sultan Khan's 50-minute starred flick Antim-The Final Truth had hit the screens. Salman Khan starrer Antim collected Rs 5 crore on the release day (Nov 26).
Khiladi In Odisha Screens
Akshay starred Sooryavanshi has mopped up Rs 2.35 crore in Odisha at the end of week 3. The film's nationwide collection has been Rs 187 cr. The super star's Mission Mangal had grossed Rs 3.13 cr in the State.
Toilet - Ek Prem Katha, the 2017 flick of Akki, that has been the 29th biggest grosser in Hindi Cinema, grossed Rs 1.17 cr in Odisha.
Sultan Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which has been the second biggest grosser in Bollywood, had mopped up collections to the tune of Rs 3.75 cr in Odisha.
In fact, Prabhas starrer Baahubali-2, which was the biggest national grosser of Indian cinema, did a brisk business in Odisha too. The film had mopped up collections of Rs 7.74 cr.

The Salman starred film 'Antim' is a low budget film. The budget is mere Rs 12 crore. As per trade pundits, If 'Antim', finally, manages to touch the magic figure of Rs 45-50 crore, then it will be declared a hit.
In contrast, Akki Kumar's Sooryavanshi budget is a whopping Rs 165cr. Since it has grossed Rs 187 crore, the box-office verdict has been a super hit. But will the Khiladi's Sooryavanshi touch the Rs 200 cr mark? The verdict will be out in the next 3-4 days. The Khatron Ke Khiladi has only two films in 200 cr Club to date.
