‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ may go off air in three months: reports

The popular TV show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is among the top five shows on the TRP chart. One of the most-watched shows, it is going neck-to-neck with shows like ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’, and ‘Jhanak’.

Fans are going gaga over the chemistry of Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit. They are being loved as Abhira and Armaan in the show and doing well and giving justice to their roles/characters. However, the latest reports suggest that the show will go off air very soon. Yes, you read that right! The makers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are planning to go off air in the next three months. 

The show being telecasted on Star Plus is reported to go off the air over reasons yet to be known.

The rumour began with reports suggesting that Star Plus will monitor the TRPs of Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Due to the decline in TRPs of the shows due to the recently concluded IPL 2024, the channel has decided to monitor the shows.
