The stupendous success of Prasanth Varma's HanuMan, starring Teja Sajja in the lead, made way for the superhero cinematic universe. Following the announcement of Jai Hanuman, a sequel to HanuMan, several reports have surfaced regarding the casting, with the latest about KGF fame Yash playing the lead role.

Fans are well aware that Jai Hanuman, the second instalment of the superhero cinematic franchise, will be focused on Lord Hanuman. While Teja Sajja played the role of Hanumanth in the first instalment, he might reprise his role in the second instalment. However, the movie will  be centered around Lord Hanuman.

Meanwhile, several reports surfaced regarding the star cast in the second instalment. While some reports claimed that the makers are planning to rope in Megastar Chiranjeevi as Lord Hanuman and Mahesh Babu as Lord Ram, other reports claimed that Rocking star Yash was the first choice of Varma and talks are on for the same.

However, a recent exclusive report in India Today claims that Yash is 'not considering' to play the once-in-a-lifetime role in the superhero franchise.

As per the report, the circulating reports  claiming that Yash will be playing Lord Hanuman in the sequel, are false and baseless.

A reliable source, close to the development was quoted as saying, "There is no truth to the reports, he is not considering any such role. Rocking Star Yash puts a lot of time and consideration into each film he chooses to do, and right now he is completely consumed with 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups'."

Well, this development comes at a time when reports are circulating about Yash playing Demon King Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana.

Fans are certainly anxious about Yash's upcoming projects which include Toxic and KGF Chapter 3. Hopefully, fans will get the official update regarding Yash's involvement in Jai Hanuman and Ramayana soon.
