Yami Gautam Dhar’s Article 370 is set to hit theatres on Feb 23; here’s what to know

Known for her versatile acting prowess, Yami Gautam Dhar’s next movie ‘Article 370’ will be released on February 23. The movie, directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and backed by Jio Studios & B62 Studios, is a political drama, based on true events. It will showcase the major events that shaped the current Kashmir. 

Gautam, known for her spectacular movies like “Badlapur”, “Uri: The Surgical Strike”, “Bala”, and “A Thursday”, will play the role of an intelligence agent who will tackle terrorism in Kashmir.

Article 370 granted Kashmir a special status until August 5, 2019, when the Indian government revoked it and divided it into the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.

As this major event in India is going to be narrated as a movie, the audiences have high expectations from it. 

Sharing the poster of the movie, Yami quoted, ‘Vaadi se Vaade tak!’ setting the expectations even higher. ‘Looking forward to this 😍’, one of her fans commented while another fan said, ‘Omg!! Looks promising! Good luck pretty ❤️❤️❤️❤️’.

Yami Gautam was last seen in ‘OMG 2’ starring Pankaj Tripathy and Akshay Kumar.
