Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya left their fans in absolute shock when they announced their separation in October last year. While no one knows the reason, both Samantha and Chay have spoken about their spilt in interviews.
Sam, during her recent appearance in Karan Johar's Show Koffee with Karan hinted that things did not end on amicable terms. But she hopes they can be cordial to each other in the future but certainly not right now, The Family Man 2 actress stressed.
Now, Chay also has opened up if he would ever work with Samantha as they are one of the most loved on-screen couples of the South Industry and have starred in movies like Manam, Majili, Ye Maaya Chesave and Autonagar Surya before their separation.
Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, the Thank You actor said, “That's gonna be a crazy one if it happens. But I don't know, only the universe knows. Let's see.”
Earlier during an interview with ETimes, Chaitanya had also opened up about his divorce. “Whatever both of us wanted to say, we both put out a statement regarding that. That’s what I have always done with my personal life anyway."
"Things that I feel are crucial to be shared and put out, I do inform the media about it, whether it’s good or bad. I come out, tell the people about it through a statement and that’s it. In our case, Samantha has moved on, I’ve moved on and I don’t feel the need to inform the world about it, more than that,” added the Love Story actor.
On the work front, Chaitanya will next be seen in Amir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha while Sam has a slew of projects in her kitty which includes Gunasekhar's mythological magnum opus 'Shaakuntalam', 'Yashoda', a Bollywood film 'Citadel', and a Hollywood movie 'Arrangements of Love'.
