After the immense success of Allu Arjun's ‘Pushpa: The Rise,’ fans are eagerly awaiting for its sequel, "Pushpa 2: The Rule." Since its announcement, anticipation has been high. Like its predecessor, the songs of "Pushpa 2" have already gained immense popularity, becoming a staple at parties. Allu Arjun's dance moves, particularly his iconic shoe drop step, have once again won hearts and inspired numerous social media reels.

Despite the excitement, a recent rumour regarding the film has sparked confusion about its release date. According to a report in Peeping Moon, Antony Ruben, the editor behind blockbuster films such as ‘Pushpa: The Rise,’ ‘Jawan,’ ‘Bigil,’ and ‘Mersal,’ has backed out of ‘Pushpa 2’ due to scheduling conflicts. Antony is currently busy with Atlee's ‘Baby John,’ starring Varun Dhawan, where he is not only the editor but also an associate producer.

Reportedly, his departure from ‘Pushpa 2’ has been amicable, driven by his inability to manage his dates due to his hectic schedule.

However, reports suggest that after he backed out, Sukumar and Allu Arjun have found National Award-winning Naveen Nooli to take over editing duties. Despite the change in the editing team, it is reported that the release date of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ will remain unaffected.

The production team has sufficient time, allowing the new editor to complete his work without delays. The film, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, and Anasuya Bharadwaj, is set to release on August 15.
