Will Citadel have Samantha and Varun Dhawan's intimate scenes? Here's the truth!

The pair of Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan recently completed shooting for Citadel India in England which will soon hit the OTT platform. Directed by The Family Man fame Raj & DK, the Indian version is a spinoff from Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Citadel.

The hot intimate scenes between Priyanka and Richard in Citadel have triggered speculation that the Citadel India version will also have Samantha and Varun doing multiple lip locks and a few hot bed scenes.

However, now a close source associated with the production house of the project has said that just because the Hollywood version of Citadel had such intimate scenes it does not mean that Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan will also have to do them. The Citadel's India version will be a completely Indian story and hence the treatment for it will also be different.

According to the report, Samantha is not playing PeeCee’s character in the movie and hence it is most unlikely that she will do the same intimate scenes that the desi girl has done. So, Sam is not mimicking Priyanka’s role and hence fans have much more now to look forward to regarding Citadel India.

It is good news for fans of Samantha who had already watched the Western version of Citadel on OTT and were expecting their favourite actress to reprise the role of Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the desi version of Citadel.

Sam will be in a different role and this will keep the hype for Citadel India intact. Currently, the Oh! Baby actress is at a stage where she wants a big hit. Her last release Shaakuntalam was a disaster at the box office. Her health has also given her major setbacks in the last few years apart from the emotional trauma she dealt with after her divorce from Naga Chaitanya.

Apart from Citadel, Samantha also has Kushi with Vijay Deverakoda scheduled to release in September this year.
