Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's marriage remained one of the most talked about topics for several years. Bhaijaan remained the 'Most Eligible Bachelor' for many years until he turned 58 last year. While several remain still hopeful that they will see their matinee idol tying the knot, the Tiger actor has already cleared the air that his age for getting married is already over. Many speculated that Salman remained single for a long time after his alleged breakups. However, the real reason behind Salman remaining single for all these years is finally revealed by none other than his father Salim Khan.
Though recently the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor declared that his days of getting married are over, earlier he used to say that it would happen when he finds the 'one' as he wants it to be his first and last marriage.
However, recently a video of the actor's father and Bollywood's eminent writer Salim Khan has been doing rounds on social media in which he talks about his eldest son's marital status.
In the video, Salim is heard saying that Salman quickly gets into a relationship but hesitates to take it forward. He fears that the other person may not have the qualities and abilities that his mother has.
Salim said, "He easily gets into a relationship but lacks the courage to get married. He has a very simple nature and gets attracted easily. However, he fears whether the woman will be able to handle the family like his mother does."
Further, he added, "He wants the woman to be committed to her husband and family like his mother was. She should cook meals for the children, help them get ready, and get their homework done. However, it isn’t easy in today’s time.”
Earlier, a video went viral on Reddit in which Salman blamed himself for being single.
The Sikandar actor claimed that it was his fault and said, "Because when the first one goes, you think it was her fault, when the second one walks out of the relationship, you think it was her fault, when the third one does the same, you think the fault was in her..."
"...but by the fourth time, you start to doubt and wonder, ‘Ki fault unmein hai ya mujh mein?’ (Is the fault in them or me?) Maybe it’s my fear, that I can’t give them that life or happiness,” he added.

On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in Tiger 3. He has teamed up with AR Murugadoss for 'Sikandar' in which he will be seen with Rashmika Mandanna. He also has the most anticipated 'Tiger Vs Pathaan' in the pipeline in which he will reportedly lock horns with Shah Rukh Khan. Moreover, the latest buzz in the industry also suggests that Sallu is likely to team up with Thalaivar Rajinikanth for Atlee's next 'biggest Indian film'.
