Brahmastra: Part One- Shiva emerged as a landmark movie this year. Though the Bollywood flick is roaring with its box office success, negative reviews for it are yet to end. While movie goers trolled the makers and the entire team for several reasons, netizens specifically targeted Alia for calling out 'Shiva' multiple times throughout the movie.

But did you know why the Raazi girl repeatedly called out Shiva? Well, helmer Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir have come up with a clarification about the same.

Ranbir Kapoor said that the team of Brahmastra has a chat group called 'Brahmastra Feedback' where everyone gives feedback, share memes, and criticism. Even everyone makes fun of themselves.

Talking about the criticisim involving Alia, Ayan Mukerji said, "People are making fun of it. I think when I talk, I keep taking people's names a lot, this is my habit. So, that stayed in the script and came in the film as well."

Similarly, Ranbir Kapoor said, "We want to tell the audience that Alia and I would always ask Ayan that 'yaar, her name is Isha, my name is Shiva, do we have to keep saying it?' But Ayan was very particular that when someone is in love, they have to enjoy saying the name of the person they love. And I think that makes sense."

Well, Alia has multiple times proven her acting proficiency. Be it Raazi, Highway, Gangubai Kathiawadi or Darlings, she has been appreciated for nailing her character.

Now it is clear that the director's opinion to utter 'Shiva' multiple times would have forced the actress to do so. So what could she have done? Fans who have pinned high hopes on Alia and expectations mustn't get disheartened for her performance as Isha in Brahmastra: Part One- Shiva.
