Raashii Khanna, one of the most popular and active actresses in the Indian film industry, recently left fans thrilled by sharing behind-the-scenes photos from an upcoming project. 

Known for her dedication and transparency with fans, the actress teased an intense role that has left social media abuzz.

A Glimpse into Her Gruelling Role

Taking to Instagram, Raashii posted striking behind-the-scenes pictures where she appeared bruised and battered, indicating the physical demands of her new role. She captioned the post,

Reflecting on Her Recent Work

Raashii was last seen in the Tamil horror film Aghathiyaa, directed by PA Vijay. The film featured Arjun Sarja, Jiiva, and Raashii in the lead roles and was released in theatres in February 2025. The supporting cast included Edward Sonnenblick, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Radha Ravi, and Nizhagal Ravi.

In a recent interview, Raashii also opened up about her experiences with language while working in different film industries. She remarked,

“Some of the South Indians told me how difficult Hindi is. They are unable to understand the genders in the language. They just gave up on Hindi. At that time, I understood that humari bhi bhasha thodi mushkil hai.”

What’s Next for Raashii Khanna?

Raashii Khanna is all set to appear in her next big project, Telusu Kada, a romantic entertainer directed by popular stylist Neeraja Kona, marking her directorial debut. The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory.

Telusu Kada stars Siddu Jonnalagadda, Srinidhi Shetty, Viva Harsha, and Raashii Khanna in key roles. The film promises to explore themes of friendship, family, sacrifice, and self-love, making it one of the most anticipated releases.
