Deepika Padukone gave one of the biggest hits of her career Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan who launched her in Bollywood with Om Shanti Om. But very few people know that it was Salman Khan who had first noticed Deeps and her ability to become a big-time actress.

Revealing about the same the Padmaavat actress once said that it was Salman Khan who first spotted her and offered her a movie.

However, at that time Deepika Padukone was not ready for an acting career. Rather at that time, she did not even think herself capable enough to become an actress. But a few years later, Farah Khan and SRK offered her Om Shanti Om, and at that time she had already decided to become an actor.

Working with Salman Khan

Speaking about her relationship with Salman Khan, the Bollywood superstar said we both are Capricorns and we always had a beautiful relationship. She said that she will always be grateful to him as he was the first person to offer her a movie but the tragedy is that she was not ready for movies then.

Deepika Padukone said that he knew that she had the potential to become an actor even before she knew about it and that is why she will be grateful to him always.

Speaking about when her fans will get to see working with Salman Khan in a movie with full-fledged characters the actress said that she believes in letting things happen and if her dream of working with Hrithik Roshan is happening after so many years then this will also surely happen someday.

Narrating her experience of working with Prabhas and Nag Ashwin in Kalki 2898 AD, Deepika said that their talent and the way their minds work are there for everyone to see. But she would rather talk about what usually does not come to light and that is the humility that is present in every pore of their body and that is incredible.
