When Ajay Devgn shared an on-screen kiss and his honest confession to Kajol

Ajay Devgn and Kajol, one of Bollywood’s most admired couples, have been together since their marriage in 1999. Known for their strong bond both on and off screen, the two have often spoken candidly about their relationship. But during the making of Ajay’s ambitious directorial venture Shivaay (2016), an interesting episode unfolded that gave fans a glimpse into their equation.

Ajay On Kissing Scene

While shooting the film, Ajay had to perform a kissing scene with Polish actress Erica Kaar. Kajol, who was also the film’s co-producer, wasn’t informed about it beforehand. Recalling the incident during The Kapil Sharma Show while promoting Shivaay, Kajol revealed that Ajay came home and admitted it to her directly.

How Did Kajol React?

“Ajay did not tell me earlier,” she said. “But after shooting the scene, he came to me, apologized, and said, ‘I did this, and now I am sorry.’”

When Kapil cheekily asked if she felt jealous watching the scene, Kajol laughed and admitted, “I didn’t know about it while filming. Later, when I saw the movie, I just pretended to be angry.”

The actress also fondly reminisced about how her love story with Ajay began. During the shooting of *Hulchul* (1995), there was a moment when she had to slap him in a scene. Instead, Ajay gently held her hand- a gesture that made Kajol realize he was special. “That’s when I knew he was the one I wanted to marry,” she confessed.

Kajol went on to share another personal memory from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998). While filming the iconic bicycle sequence, she fell, hit her head, and briefly lost her memory. The incident left director Karan Johar so shaken that he immediately called Ajay in panic.
