Who is TheVillain?

Season 2 opens with Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) back in detective mode, investigating strange deaths and threats against her werewolf roommate, Enid (Emma Myers). Her search leads to Willow Hill Psychiatric Facility, home to Season 1’s Hyde, Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan).

Suspicion initially falls on Willow Hill’s director, Dr Rachael Fairburn (Thandiwe Newton), and new music teacher Isadora Capri. But the real culprit is a surprise: Willow Hill’s cheerful assistant Judi Spannegel (Heather Matarazzo).

In Episode 4, it’s revealed Judi is the daughter of Augustus Stonehurst, a disgraced Nevermore teacher and former chief psychiatrist who experimented on Outcasts to steal their powers. Inheriting abilities from those experiments, Judi has been continuing his work in secret, commanding a murderous flock of crows.

When Wednesday and Uncle Fester (Fred Armisen) discover the asylum’s underground lab, they free tortured Outcasts, sparking chaos. Tyler escapes, kills his former controller Marilyn Thornhill (Christina Ricci), and throws Wednesday out a second-story window, leaving her fate uncertain.

For Matarazzo, this marks a major comeback after years away from the spotlight, with her transformation from sunny assistant to chilling villain being one of the season’s most shocking twists.

Who is TheStalker?

Season 1 ended with Wednesday receiving cryptic texts from an unknown stalker. Season 2 wastes no time revealing the truth.

Back at Nevermore, Wednesday is now a reluctant celebrity after defeating Crackstone, hounded by students and pushed into the spotlight by new principal Barry Dort (Steve Buscemi). Soon, she begins receiving threatening letters and gruesome gifts from her stalker, culminating in Enid’s kidnapping.

In Episode 2, the stalker is unmasked as Agnes DeMille (Evie Templeton), a seemingly harmless fan who once asked Wednesday for an autograph. Obsessed with her idol, Agnes uses her invisibility power to follow Wednesday everywhere, creating life-threatening games in a twisted bid for attention.
