Aamir Khan was a part of the RRR promotions that were held recently in New Delhi. Apart from the lead star of the movie including Alia Bhatt, Jr. NTR and Ram Charan director Rajamouli was also present at the event. During the press event, a media person asked the Fanaa actor about his views on The Kashmir Files, the movie that is currently riding high on waves of emotions in India and has even impacted the collection of Akshay Kumar-led Bachchan Pandey.
Many expected that Aamir will either try to dodge the question or give a diplomatic answer. But surprisingly, he spoke in favour of The Kashmir Files. The superstar said that he will definitely watch the movie because it is one part of our history that gives a lot of pain to us. According to Aamir, the things that happened with the Kashmiri Pandits are undeniably a very sad thing and every Indian must watch this movie which has been made on this topic and every Indian should remember what happens when people are exposed to atrocities.
He further added, “This film has touched the emotions of all the people who believe in humanity and that’s what is wonderful and so I will definitely watch this movie. And I am happy that the film is very successful and I believe that this time in India which people should look at the things carefully.”
However, this reaction from Aamir Khan has triggered some negative reactions from a few Twitter users with one of the users even saying that he will not watch Lal Singh Chaddha- the upcoming release of Aamir Khan.

Initially, when The Kashmir Files was released there was no appreciation or support from Bollywood and most of the A-listed stars of the Hindi film industry kept mum. Slowly one after the other reactions started pouring in. After Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, and many other stars have appreciated The Kashmir Files.
