A few days back, Khiladi Kumar dropped the trailer of his upcoming suspense thriller ‘Cuttputlli’. With power-packed performances, the thriller movie, which also stars gorgeous actress Rakul Preet Singh, looks promising with a gripping storyline.
Now, the two stars are busy in the promotion of the movie. The makers of the film have also released the first song, ‘Saathiya’, of the movie.
On Thursday, Akshay took his Instagram handle and shared a hilarious video of playing a prank on his co-star Rakul. The prank video is set to the tune of the film’s song Saathiya.
In the video, the duo can be seen taking a stroll together. On their way, they encounter a puddle filled with water. Soon, Akshay finds a solution and places bricks in the water to help her cross the puddle.
However, as Rakul reaches the middle of the puddle, he says a line from the film, “Killer Ke Saath Power Nahin, Mind Game Khelna Chahiye (You Should play mind games, not power games with a killer), and runs away after dropping the brick in the water letting the water splash all over Rakul.
Sharing the video on his Instagram handle, Akshay wrote, “It was all fun and games until someone decided to play mind games. Make your fun reels with a twist on #Saathiya. Looking forward to sharing the best ones.”
This is the first time Akshay and Rakul will share the screen space together. Produced by Rakul Preet’s alleged boyfriend Jackky Bhagnani, the film will premiere directly on Disney+ Hotstar on September 2.
The movie is a gripping adaptation of the real-life case of Anatoly Yemelianovich Slivko, a serial killer from the days of the former Soviet Union.
