Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut are constantly at loggerheads. Be it the Queen calling the Dharma head King of nepotism or the leading Bollywood producer and director sharing cryptic messages on social media slamming the actress.

However, things were not this way when Kangana first made her debut in Bollywood with Gangster as she earned immense praise. Her debut movie was a big hit and even her special appearance in Fashion established he as a highly talented actress.

With four National Awards in her kitty, no one can deny that Kangana Ranaut is a very good actress despite giving a series of flops in the past few years. Even Karan Johar had once openly praised the Thalaivi actress calling her a powerhouse actress and a fashionista.

During one of the press events in 2014, Karan said that Kangana is not the choice but the only choice and she is not on the list of options but the only option.

The Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham director said that she has not only grown tremendously in the fashion space but is also a powerhouse actress. Karan seemed proud of Kangana’s growth at that time. But things started turning ugly especially after Kangana called Karan King of nepotism on his show Koffee with Karan.

Such was the depth of hurt that Karan felt that during a press meeting following that comment, he directly asked Kangana to leave Bollywood and try another profession if she feels she is being victimized by the biggies in the industry.

The famous producer and director even said that no one is forcing the Tanu Weds Manu actress to keep on working in Bollywood at gunpoint. It was also the time when Kangana Ranaut openly came out with her alleged affair with Hrithik Roshan accusing the Krrish actor of all sorts of things.

It is a known fact that Karan and all the other Bollywood stars are good friends with Hrithik and hence rallied behind him when Kangana Ranaut made such allegations.
