Promotions for Ek Villain Returns starring Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria are currently on. The stars are aggressively promoting the movie on different platforms. Recently they planned a unique way to promote their movie. Also, the aim was to enter the Limca Book of Records with this special attempt. The team had a special reason to celebrate as the song Dil from the movie garnered 50 million-plus views on YouTube in just 24 hours from its release.
That is why they attempted the biggest balloon drop in Vashi’s Inorbit Mall. Around 8000 yellow-coloured balloons were wrapped in a massive heart which descended on the star cast of the movie to depict the theme of heartbreak with the Dil track playing in the background. The earlier record of balloon drop is that of 5,734 balloons. While many fans went into a frenzy there were a few smart ones who slammed the team of Ek Villain Returns for making such an attempt.
Ek Villain ReturnsMany Insta users slammed the team saying such attempts are bad for the environment whereas one user said that instead, they should have planted 8000 saplings. An Insta user questioned the makers asking why they did not do anything for the betterment of society instead of focusing on Limca Records to promote the movie?

However, the head of the T-Series Bhushan Kumar who is producing Ek Villain Returns said that the massive success of Dil called for such a big celebration, and it is a great feeling to attempt the record. Co-producer Ektaa Kapoor also voiced the same feelings and said that a movie that has a larger-than-life canvas must be promoted on a massive platform and that they are thrilled with this balloon drop attempt.
