War 2 outline disclosed! Hrithik Roshan's Kabir becomes 'India's greatest villain', Jr NTR's Agent Vikram is 'lethal'?

Yash Raj Films (YRF) Spy Universe upcoming flick War 2, helmed by Ayan Mukerji, has generated immense buzz and anticipation among fans. Fans are waiting with bated breath to witness the epic faceoff between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR on big screens. Reportedly, to maintain the hype among the audience, YRF has deployed an interesting strategy of 'no-interview before release policy' so that none of the actors divulge details about the script. However, recently, the outline of War 2 has seemingly been disclosed.

War 2 Synopsis Goes Public?

War 2 is slated for theatrical release on August 14, 2025. While nothing much is known about the storyline of the upcoming project under YRF Spy Universe, the US Ticketing Site Fandango has uploaded a synopsis, giving insights into the highly anticipated flick. 

According to the synopsis on the ticketing site, Hrithik Roshan's character in War 2, Major Kabir, went rogue years ago and has become 'India’s greatest villain’. However, India sends its deadliest agent to neutralise him as he descends into the 'deepest shadows'.

The description read, "Years ago, Agent Kabir went rogue. Became India’s greatest villain ever. But this time, as he descends further into the deepest shadows… India sends its deadliest, most lethal agent after him." (sic)

The description further read, “A Special Units Officer who is more than Kabir’s equal — Absolutely Nuclear! Agent Vikram. A relentless Terminator driven by his own demons, determined to put a bullet into Kabir’s skull. A brutal Cat versus Rottweiler game begins as the two face off - The entire world is their brutal, bloody battleground. The choices ahead of them are impossible. The price to be paid is ultimate. This is a War with spectacular action and heart-wrenching emotion.” (sic)

However, there is no official confirmation backing the 'disclosed outline' of War 2.
