The powerful combo of Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj has always done wonders whenever they have come together. They first joined forces for the action entertainer Kaminey.
It went on to become a blockbuster, winning several awards for both Shahid and Vishal. Since then, there has been no looking back for both of them. After Kaminey, Shahid headlined Vishal’s Haider, which was also critically acclaimed.
However, the powerful pair seems to have taken a break as Vishal Bhardwaj has chosen Kartik Aaryan over Shahid Kapoor for his upcoming venture. According to sources, Kartik Aaryan is currently in talks with Vishal for a gritty thriller.
After back-to-back commercial films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Shehzada, Satyaprem Ki Katha and Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan is now looking to take things a notch higher by getting into thriller movies. Touted to be a gritty thriller, the upcoming movie will be directed by Vishal himself who is likely to produce it also, Bollywood Hungama reported.
While Vishal is busy with content for OTT platforms, this film is expected to release on the big screens in 2025. The film is expected to go on the floors in the second half of 2024. It will be Kartik Aaryan’s next after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which went on the floors recently.

After completing the shoot for Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan joined the shooting of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which is being helmed by Welcome fame director Anees Bazmee. Apart from Kartik, the film also has Vidya Balan and the gorgeous Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles.
