Former Indian Cricket Team captain Virat Kohli has a close connection with the entertainment world as his wife is one of the top actresses, so if in the future the star batsman wishes to try his hand at acting, he can rely on the brilliance of ace Director Ayaan Mukherjee.

This is because recently Mukherjee revealed that he would like to cast Virat in his film.

Ayan, who is gearing up for the release of his dream project  Brahmastra starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt for release this September, recently appeared with Ranbir and Alia for a cricket event where he talked about their movie and cricket.

During the show, when Ayan was asked about his top choice for casting a cricketer in Brahmastra. Ayan replied, “All my answers related to cricket are always about Virat Kohli. Brahmastra needs a true superstar spirit, so I would cast Virat Kohli.”

Ayan and Ranbir also talked about their love for sports. Ranbir also shared about playing football with MS Dhoni and other Indian cricket team players. He also praised the football skills of the cricketer and revealed how interacting with Dhoni taught him many important life lessons.

“MS Dhoni is a genius guy. I appreciate his mentality, demeanour and humility. When you talk to him, he is always listening to you and he will never speak extra. He is really a great guy,” said the Barfi actor.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures, Brahmastra will release theatrically on September 9 in 5 Indian languages- Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
