Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma skip Anant Ambani wedding; spotted enjoying Kirtan in London #Watch

Virat Kohli rushed to London to be with his wife Anushka Sharma and kids Vamika and Akaay after winning the T20 World Cup last month. While most of the big names in the cricketing world including Sachin Tendulkar , MS Dhoni, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, and Surya Kumar Yadav were spotted at the ongoing Anant Ambani wedding festivities, Virat and Anushka decided to skip the event and enjoy a family time.

Now a video of the two enjoying a kirtan in London’s Union Chapel has surfaced online. The clip is from the kirtan event of Krishna Das who is known as the “Rockstar of Yoga” and blends the traditional chanting of Indian mantras and shlokas with contemporary music. Most of the videos of the event show Krishna Das who originally was known as Jeffrey Kagel doing Kirtan while both Virat and Anushka are enjoying it happily.

The Sultan actress shared a few clicks from the event on her IG story. The common point between Virat Kohli , Anushka, and Krishna Das is Neem Karoli Baba. Krishna Das is a disciple of Neem Karoli Baba. He traveled to India during the 1960s and began his spiritual journey under the blessings of Neem Karoli Baba. Both Virat and Anushka are devotees of the revered saint and attended this event last year as well in London.

There has been a strong buzz that the couple will be settling in London and may not return to India. Virat has already announced retirement from T20 cricket and in a couple of years may announce retirement from other formats of the game. Earlier in his interview he had said that after retirement he would vanish for a few years. It seems London is the place that both Virat and Anushka have chosen to step out from the limelight and ensure that their kids are raised normally without the glitter and glamour of the showbiz.
