Vijay Sethupathi reveals secret reason for working in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, deets inside

The anticipation among movie lovers is skyrocketing with each passing day for Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming action-thriller Jawan. Helmed by South director Atlee, the movie also stars South’s Lady Superstar Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. Well, the recent Pervu of Jawan has fuelled the excitement and everyone is waiting eagerly for the movie release.

By now, all are aware that SRK will be seen as the protagonist while Nayanthara will be the lady lead. Furthermore, Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as the antagonist in the movie. The movie will release in multiple languages eyeing a pan-India release to woo movie lovers in the South.

Though Jawan is not the first movie to bring actors from South and Bollywood together with a South director, cine lovers must be anxious about the venture.

Recently, Vijay Sethupathi, who has a craze among movie lovers in the South, revealed the secret reason why he accepted to work with Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan.

During a recent interview, Vijay said that he accepted Jawan’s offer only for Shah Rukh Khan as the opportunity to work with the actor was something he couldn’t miss. Further, he also said that he would have been a part of the project for free. 

Vijay was quoted as saying, "I did Jawan only for Shah Rukh Khan sir; even if I didn't get a single penny, I would have still worked with him."

Undeniably, such is the craze of SRK, popular actors even have the urge to share screen space with him, even without charging a penny. Such actors consider working with SRK itself prestigious. 

Jawan is scheduled to release on September 7, 2023, and the prevue promises a roller coaster journey.
