Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have been the talk of the town for their alleged romance. Rumour mills are also abuzz that both the stars are dating secretly. And their off-screen appearance and appreciation have only added fuel to these rumours only.

However, the latest report of ETimes suggests that the correct question regarding their relationship should be if the actors are getting back together by any chance. 

Yes, you read that right. The report revealed that indeed Vijay and Rashmika were dating for some time after Rashmika called off her engagement with South actor Rakshit Shetty but the couple had parted ways two years ago.

According to the report, Vijay and Rashoo were in the midst of a couple of films together- 'Geetha Govindam' (2018) and 'Dear Comrade' (2019) when the stars dated as they were spending a lot of time together which only made them understand each other well.

However, then the duo called it quits about two years ago in 2020. But what led to the pair's separation is not known yet. Following which, both the Geetha Govindam stars are not romantically involved but they have remained best friends, which is why they are uncomfortable around each other and are seen rooting for each other making rumour mills work overtime even though there is no romance left.

However, both the stars have never denied or accepted the rumours surrounding their relationship. And irrespective of it, the stars are in news for their relationship every now and then giving them abundant media coverage, which is only helpful for their career and there is no harm in getting free publicity as many actors pay tabloids to carry such stories.
