The impending marriage between Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara is one of the most discussed topics among their fans. While the couple has never denied being in a relationship, they did not officially announce their engagement or marriage plans. For the past couple of years, fans have been repeatedly asking them about their marriage plans and when they are finally going to tie the knot.
Now, it seems Vignesh and Nayanthara have finally decided to walk down the aisle albeit not very soon. Recently, during a chat session, the Tollywood director opened up about his marriage plans with the lady superstar. When fans asked Vignesh when he is planning to marry his ladylove, the director said that he is currently saving for his marriage and would get married to Nayanthara after the current situation improves.
While it makes one thing clear that the two are thinking of marriage, it may not be sometime in the next couple of months as the Corona pandemic continues to lurk around. One of the reasons why Vignesh said that he is saving for his marriage is because his parents are expecting a grand wedding celebration for their son.

Earlier, Nayanthara was contemplating a simple marriage ceremony but now she has agreed to an elaborate marriage process. Work-wise, Vignesh is currently directing Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni in Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi. The romantic comedy will focus on a love triangle between the characters played by Vijay, Nayan, and Samantha.
There is also a rumor that Nayanthara has been roped in as female lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan to be helmed by Atlee. With many leading ladies from the South including Rashmika Mandanna and Samantha Akkineni venturing into the world of Hindi cinema, it is high time that Nayanthara also makes her debut in Bollywood.
