Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri’s latest song Jaanam from their upcoming flick Bad Newz released just a couple of days ago is now grabbing headlines. Interestingly, despite being one of the most intimate and passionate songs of recent times, it has failed to impress the viewers with many calling it a condom commercial and cringeworthy.

The song is bold with shirtless Vicky Kaushal and hot-looking Triptii in a revealing blue dress getting wet in the swimming pool and having a passionate wet kiss. But somehow it has failed to get the chemistry part right. More importantly, now people are slamming Karan Johar for this particular song as it seems the Dharma boss dedicated a lot of time to this song when it was being filmed.

Bollywood Hungama sources have reported, “Karan Johar was on the sets during the shoot of 'Jaanam'. "'Jaanam' was a very passionate song and Karan was on the set throughout to ensure that the leading actors - Vicky and Triptii - feel comfortable during the intimate scenes. Karan believes in the safety and security of his actors and was also behind the camera to co-direct the song."

The song was shot earlier this year. Now many fans believe that the maker wanted to cash on the growing popularity of Triptii as the latest heart crush after Animal became a big blockbuster. However, Triptii fans are not happy with the way their favorite star is being shown in such a sensational and glamorous avatar with a role similar to a flowerpot.

Those used to watching the young actress giving fabulous performances in movies like Bulbbul want Triptii Dimri to do more such meaty and meaningful roles. But it seems Karan Johar wanted to portray her in an entirely different light.

The source added, “The song spells love, a funda that Dharma Cinema stands for. It's a passionate way to express love, portrayed on the spectacle with right and safe shoot environment."
