Helmed by Laxman Utekar, Chhava is a historical drama based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna will be essaying the role of Yesubai Bhonsale, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's wife. For the first time, Vicky will be seen in such an avatar and will be sharing screen space with Rashmika Mandanna. The shooting of Chhava commenced in October 2023. It is expected to be released in December this year.
