Varun Dhawan’s kissing video with Nargis Fakhri goes viral,
A video from the 2014 film ‘Main Tera Hero’ featuring Varun Dhawan and Nargis Fakhri has resurfaced online, and going viral sparking a wave of criticism.
The clip is apparently a part of the song ‘Galat Baat Hai,’ from the same movie. The sequence involved Varun Dhawan kissing Nargis Fakhri passionately. In the clip, however, the actor failed to stop kissing even as the director could be heard repeatedly yelling "Cut! Cut!".
While the scenes in the video appear to be quite usual and all the involved actors and crew laughing off the incident, a section of netizens has found the videos unsettling. Social media erupted in anger with comments calling the actor "creepy" and "uncomfortable” for his behaviour.
A social media user commented “Was this a joke? If not, this was creepy” under the video shared extensively on sites like Reddit and X (formerly Twitter). Another continued “Just watching the clip makes me unsettled”.

Director said CUT and he is still going on🥴 eww pic.twitter.com/uHR8n4YuGV
Others remarked similarly, "No nice guy behaves like this, even if it's meant as a joke." Another comment stated, "Being a professional actor should teach you to respect personal space."
Incidentally, the incident has once again put Varun Dhawan under scrutiny. Recently, the actor faced criticism for his interactions with female co-stars such as unexpectedly kissing Kiara Advani during a photoshoot, grabbing Alia Bhatt by the waist, and lifting and kissing Gigi Hadid on stage during an Ambani function.
However, a few social media users also agreed with the fact that the actor perhaps did not hear the director’s calls and had thus continued acting. It is quite well known that Varun Dhawan has a humorous and jovial personality and has received compliments for his professionalism from several of his co-stars, including Nargis Fakhri.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Dhawan was recently seen in theaters in ‘Baby John’ and is expected to appear soon in ‘Border 2’.
