Uorfi Javed received death threat for recreating Chote Pandit look from Bhool Bhulaiyaa

The social media fashion sensation Uorfi Javed has received a death threat for dressing up as Chote Pandit from the hit movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The role was performed by Rajpal Yadav in the movie and received a lot of love. Early in the morning today the Bigg Boss OTT star shared on her social media account that she has been receiving death threats for dressing up as Chote Pandit from Bhool Bhulaiyaa .

The actress shared a screenshot of the thread that she received. The screengrab shows someone accusing Uorfi of hurting the religious sentiments of some people. In her post, Uorfi penned that she is just shocked and appalled by this action and that she is getting threats for recreating a particular character from a movie whereas the original character or the actor who portrayed Chote Pandit did not receive any backlash.

As most of the followers of Uorfi must be aware the social media influencer recreated this to mark the Halloween celebrations and most of the fans loved it. For the look, she wore a dhoti and a red top and painted her face with red colour to achieve that Chote Pandit look. Netizens were divided over this new avatar of Uorfi Javed .

A few of the Insta users liked this replication of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa character a few others seemed unhappy and now some users have even threatened her.

Nasty comments, trolls, and backlash are not new for Uorfi Javed who is regularly slammed for her fashion sense and wearing revealing and bold dresses. She had also received a threat in December 2022 from a man Naveen Giri. He was arrested by Mumbai police for sending the television actress rape and life threats.

Uorfi Javed has often irked people with her fashion choices with many accusing her of promoting nudity and vulgarity. But that has never deterred her from dressing the way she always wanted.
