We are not like this, we are decent people). Some people encourage this and show their love through this. Udaake kya karna hai ab iss cheez ko (What is the point of making a big deal out of this)? There are so many people in the crowd, and we have bodyguards present too. Fans feel they are meeting, someone stretches his hand for a handshake, some kiss hands. yeh sab deewangi hoti hai. Uspe itna dhyaan nahi dena chahiye (All this is fans' craze, it shouldn't be given so much attention)."

    Udit Narayan Kisses Shreya Ghoshal, Alka Yagnik

    After the viral video, some older clips of Udit Narayan kissing female celebrities also reappeared on social media. In one clip, he could be seen kissing Shreya Ghoshal on the cheek while presenting an award to her as she was about to collect it. Another video captures Alka Yagnik being visibly startled after being kissed on the cheek by him during an Indian Idol episode. In yet another clip, Alka seems uncomfortable herself when Udit kisses her at yet another event.
