National crush Triptii Dimri is a well-known face today. The stupendous success of Ranbir Kapoor catapulted her to a star overnight. However, the stunning diva had quite a fanbase ever since her debut. She has the cult classic movies like ‘Qala’, ‘Bulbbul’ and Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Laila Majnu’ to her credit, much before Animal.
Meanwhile, the 2018 romantic drama Laila Majnu has been re-released across 75 screens in the country on popular demand and Triptii is getting all the love once again. Although the film was a box office failure during its release, it has since garnered a dedicated cult following over the years for its memorable performances, dialogues and music.
Fans are thronging movie theatres following the re-release. In a special moment, a particular theatre in Odisha went housefull and Triptii cannot stop thanking her fans from Odisha. Taking to her Instagram stories, Triptii re-shared a video of a housefull theatre, originally shared by a fan, and thanked everyone for the love.
Sharing a video on her Instagram, Triptii wrote, “Humari kahani likhi hui hai✨ #lailamajnu is making a comeback after 6 years❤️ … this is nothing short of a dream come true and its only because of your love for our film… Thank you 🙏🏻…”
She also wrote the iconic dialogue from the movie that goes, “Toh Nikal Padenge Apni Pahadon Ke Peeche Wali Duniya Mein, Waha Nadi Kinaare Ek Chota Sa Ghar Banayenge. Main Lakdiyaan Kaat Ke Launga, Tu Khana Banayegi. Sukoon Se Rahenge.”
Earlier, Triptii flew all the way to Kashmir and had a reunion with the entire cast and crew of the movie. She was spotted posing for the cameras with her co-star Avinash Tiwary.
On the professional front, Triptii is gearing up for the release of Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ and Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’. She was last seen in Vicky Kaushal’s Bad Newz.
