Triptii Dimri
For anyone who has ever found themselves guilty of overeating momos, you’re not alone—Bollywood actress Triptii Dimri is in the same boat.
The Animal star recently went viral for sharing a hilarious yet inspiring reel that revealed the effort it takes to burn off two plates of the beloved street food.
Her video has struck a chord with fans and celebrities alike, showing that behind indulgence lies intense dedication.
Triptii Dimri took to Instagram to share a fitness video captioned, “This was not in the fitness plan…”, cheekily referring to her craving for momos. The reel showcased her performing a high-intensity workout routine, followed by the on-screen text:
“When you realize that all this has to be done for two plates of momos.”
The video quickly went viral, with fans flooding the comments section. Actress Alaya F wrote, “Hahahahahaha I like this,” while Karan Wahi dropped laughing emojis.
Fans chimed in with hilarious takes, one wrote, ‘Like you eat only 2 plates’, another said, ‘Momo toh theek hai, 1 samosa khaya tha uske liye double workout karwa diya.’
To counteract the nearly 800–1,000 calories from two plates of momos, Triptii didn’t hold back. Her regimen combined strength, flexibility, and cardio. Here’s what she did:
1. Plank with Medicine Ball Taps
A challenging core workout where she moved backwards in a plank position while tapping a medicine ball. This exercise boosts core strength, shoulder stability, and heart rate.
2. Butterfly Pose with Dumbbells
Also known as Baddha Konasana, she held dumbbells while seated in a butterfly stretch, targeting the inner thighs and glutes while adding upper-body resistance.
3. Half/Balanced Split Using Door Support
Triptii stretched her hamstrings in a deep split position while holding onto a doorframe, increasing flexibility in the lower body and improving balance.
4. Frog Jumps
High-impact, cardio-rich movements that strengthen the lower body and torch calories. These jumps mimic the explosive movement of a frog and activate the glutes and legs.
5. Animal-Inspired Moves
Her workout also included exercises like downward dog and monkey jumps, enhancing agility and building full-body endurance.
This is not the first time Triptii has shared love for momo. Earlier, actor Siddhant Chaturvedi recalled being "tricked" into eating paneer momos by Triptii during their dubbing session for Dhadak 2. He said,‘Usne mere saath chhalawa kiya hai.
Siddhant humorously claimed he would ‘never judge that dish again,’ after the experience. He even reposted Triptii’s photo of momos on social media with the caption: ‘P.S.—I will never judge Paneer Momos again.’
